CHIVYRKUISKYI GULF AND SVYATOI NOS PENINSULA.

Route: Irkutsk city - Posolskyi sor gulf - Ust-Barguzin village - Svytoi Nos (holy nose) peninsula - Chivyrkuiskyi gulf - Ulan-Ude city

This tour is active, easy, beauty and comfortable. It goes along east shore of Baikal to Svyatoi Nos peninsula. This tour allows you to enjoy Baikal colour, meet with amazing nature of the lake, Zabaikalskyi National park and Barguzinskyi reserve; visit mountain platau of the biggest Baikal peninsula – Svyatoi Nos (Holy Nose); see Baikal nerpa, fish, take bath in hot springs and just relax.
Draw attention that the tour starts in Irkutsk and finishes in Ulan-Ude while booking.

PROGRAM

1st day:
Meeting in Irkutsk city.
Tour starts at 10 o'clock. Traveling along east shore of Baikal to Posolskyi Sor gulf.
Visiting museum of minerals “Semi-precious stones of Baikal” in Slyudyanka, walking to Tyoplye (warm) lakes. It is beautiful place in foothills of Hamar-Daban range where relic subtropical plants are preserved. Excursion stops on the route - Kultuk village, Slyudyanka town, Baikalsk town.
Accomodation at the Kultushnaya tourist base.
Dinner.
Optional: evening fishing.

2d day:
Breakfast.
Traveling to the biggest gulf of Baikal – Burguzinskyi gulf.
Stops and relaxation on sandy and pebble beaches, hot springs, taiga lakes on the way.    Visiting Spaso-Preobrazhenskyi monastery. Lunch on Baikal shore in Gremyachinsk village.
Ferry over Barguzin river. We are on Zabaikalskyi national park territory. Going along sandy isthmus of Svyatoi Nose peninsula where Arangutai lake is located. It is famous for a quntity of migrant birds.
Accomodation in tents or fisherman's house in the very end of the isthmus. Dinner. Evening fire.

3d day:
This day is for fishing-lovers. Chivyrkuiskyi and Barguzinskyi gulfs are favourite habit of omul, grayling, pike, white-fish, baikal sturgeon and other species of fish.
Others climb at the air view peak of peninsula. Beautiful views at Baikal, vast beaches, bays and Barguzin mountains are opened from it top. It height is 1877 m.
Coming back to the camp. Free time. Dinner.

4th day:
Breakfast.
Traveling to fisherman's village - Monahovo. Water excursion to "Zmeinaya" (snake) bay along Chivyrkuiskyi gulf. Relaxation and bathing in hot termal spring. It is called so because grass-snakes likes warm water of the bay.
Lunch on the motor boat. Accomodation in tents on shore of Chivyrkuiskyi gulf.
Dinner.

5th day:
Relaxation day on beaches of Krestovaya bay. There are a lot of fish. The bay is not deep. So water is warm.

6th day:
Breakfast.
Short cruise round Svyatoi Nos peninsula. Visiting nerpas breeding-ground on Ushkaniy islands. We navigate the whole day along Chivyrkuiskyi and Barguzinskyi gulfs to Ust-Barguzin village.
Lunch on the motor boat.
Accomodation in the privite hotel in the village. Dinner.

7th day:
Breakfast.
Going to Ulan-Ude city (270 km).
Excursion to ecological park-museum "Svetlaya polyana" (light glade) in Maximiha village, visiting Gremyachinsk and Goryachinsk resorts on the way. Lunch in a cafe.
Accomodation in the hotel in the city.
