Road from Irkutsk to the beginning of the route
(by electric train or microbus UAZ).
Traveling to tourist refuge “Skazka”.
Walking to the air view spot “Mexica” on the way.
Lunch.
Tracking to Idol rock. Free time.
Dinner. Evening fire

Visiting “Vityaz” (Knight) rock
Lunch. Relaxation, fishing.

Short walking to “Orlyonok” railway station.
Going to “Tyomnaya Pad” station along the East-Siberian
Railroad (electriс train: 10:50 – 12:15).
Walking to Baikal along forest to the tourist refuge “Staraya Angasolka”.
Accomodation.

Walking along the all-around-Baikal railway. Visiting tunnels.

Walking along Baikal shore to “Parusa” rocks.
Lunch.
Traveling to Baikal port along the all-around-Baikal
railway by tourist train.

Angara river source crossing to Lystvyanka settlement
(by motor ship).
Brekfast.
Visiting Baikal limnological
museum, nerpas, the acting church of Nicolas wonder-worker,
picture-gallery of Siberian artists. Lunch.
Walking excursion to the
air view spot “Cherskiy stone” (walking by boat along Baikal).
Coming back to Irkutsk (by bus). Visiting ethnographic museum
of wooden art on the way. |
