Program
1st day:
Meeting in Irkutsk. City tour. Safety measures instruction. Start of expediton "Ice Baikal". Ice crossing to the biggest island of Baikal islands - Olkhon island. It is the center of north shamanizm. Accomodation in cozy farmstead in Khuzhir village. There are hot sauna, dinner (siberian cuisine).
2d day:
Participation in traditional shaman's ritual. Travelers get protection of ghost during it. Excursion along Olkhon island. Visiting picturesque places: holy Shamanka rock and holy Izhimey peak, Uzury fold and three-head's rock cape Sagan-Khushun. Accomodation in cozy farmstead of Khuzhir village.

3d day:
Going over ice of Maloe sea along ice grottos, caves and large ice-hummock - sakui. Visiting north end of island – Khoboi cape. It is place of regular shamans rituals. Accomodation in remote comfortable tourist's base in Zama place.
4th day:
Traveling to the north of Baikal overcoming ice splits, ice-hummock. On the way you will see mountain peaks of Baikal range, opposite shore, Khamar-Daban range, Olkhon Island and Svyatoi Nos peninsula if weather would be fine. Accomodation in cozy houses in quiet Zavorotnaya bay. Sauna, swimming in ice-hole. Baikal traditional cuisine: raskolotka, stroganina, uha.

5th day:
Crossing Baikal ice crosswise. Moving to Svyatoi Nos peninsula. Visiting Ushkanyi islands. This is breeding-ground of nerpas - world unique freshwater seal. Excursion along the most picturesque place of Baikal - Chivyrkuiskyi gulf. It is famous for good ice-fishing. Bathing in hot springs in snowy Zmeevaya bay. Accomodation at the tourist's base in Ust-Barguzin village.
6th day:
Going to the north along ice road. It is built every year from Chivyrkuiskyi gulf to Baikalskoe village. Visiting Khakusy resort. It is famous for strongest mineral springs on Baikal. Accomodation in the resort in guesthouses.
7th day:
Arriving to the north end of Baikal - Nizhneangarsk settlement. Visiting young town Severobaikalsk. It was built in the middle of taiga during building of first kilometers of the Baykal-Amur Mainline (BAM). Excursion to the BAM museum. Traveling to taiga resort "Dzelinda" by the road lying along the BAM. Bathing in hot springs. Accomodation in the comfortable cotteges with shower and sauna.
8th day:
Visiting the hollow of ancient lake and hottest spring on Baikal (+81 C) on Kotelnikovskyi cape. Expedition route encloses the north Baikal ring: coming back to Ust-Barguzin village. Accomodation on the tourist's base.
9th day:
Visiting world-famous baikal mythicizing anomaly – Rytyi cape. Crossing Maloe Sea. Visiting holy silver spring. Coming back to Olhon Island. Accomodation in the comfortable farmstead in Huzhir village.
10th day:
Finishing the baikal-round travel. Coming back to Irkutsk city. Farewell dinner dedicated to expedition finishing.
11th day:
Send-off.
