PROGRAM:

1st day:
     Arriving to Irkutsk city. Meeting. Going to Baikal to the warm gulfs of Maloe sea (Small sea) (distance is about 270 km, duration is about 6 hours). Late breakfast on the way. Visiting petroglyphic. After arriving to the tourist's base and accomodation short excursion to an ancient settlement of Kuerkans and a settlement of primitive man. Take a look at surrounding bays. You can climb on the Shebete peak. Beautiful view at Tazheranskaya steppe and Baikal is opened from it top. Dinner.

2d day:
      Breakfast. Ttraveling to the “Valley of sleeping ghosts” - visiting cave “Mechta” (Dream) - “Arso” bay - lunch (dry rations) - climbing on the air view peak “Tanhan” - coming back to the camp. Dinner.

3d day:
     Breakfast. Ferry to Olhon island. Going to Huzhir village (distance 40 km). Accomodation in the tourist’s center. Lunch. Taking photos - walking to Shamanka cape. (It means “White rock”. This is visiting card of Baikal). Visiting famous Olhon’s beaches, local regional museum with collection of ancient household goods reflecting life and culture of islanders. Dinner.
     Optional: sauna, tasting Baikal fishes (omul, white-fish, grayling), ride bicycles, horses.

4th day:
     Breakfast. Jeep-excursion to the north end of Olhon island (about 60 km). Walking in picturesque places: Sagan-Hushin rock (Three brothers), Peschanaya bay (where GULAG camp was located); tracking to the end of island Hoboi cape. If one is fortunate you can see nerpas taking sun baths. Lunch in the Uzury village. Omul fish-soup. Coming back to the tourist's base. Dinner.
     Optional: meeting with local shaman

5th day:
     Breakfast. Going to the south part of Baikal – Lystvyanka settlement (distance 370 km). Lunch on the way in the road cafe. Visiting Ethnographic museum of wooden arts “Talcy”. Accomodation in the hotel or gusethouse. Walking along Lystvyanka embankment. If you have time, you can walk to solar observation, or just sit at any little restaurant. Dinner.  

6th day:
     Breakfast. Walking around Listvyanka. Walking excursion to the source of Angara river and Shaman stone, to the air view spot “Cherskiy stone” (lifting). Program: Baikal limnological museum, aquarium with lakes’ inhabitants and nerpas, virtual diving at the Baikal floor, walking to the central dock. Lunch on the way in a cafe. Visiting the fish market near the dock. Dinner in the hotel.
   !!! Listvyanka lies along the shore for several kilometers. So tourists can walk more then 10 kilometers around the village without even noticing it. 
   Option

7th day:
     Breakfast. Going by ferry to Port Baikal village over Angara source at 11 o'clock. Traveling by train along old all-around Baikal railaway. Lunch on the way at Polovinnaya station. Train arrives at the station Slyudyanka in the evening. We can visit this small town of railwaymen and stone getters. Going to Tunkinskaya valley to Arshan mineral springs. Accomodation in the hotel. Dinner.
   !!! !!! This railway is a historical monument and architectonic-landscape reserve where 424 engineering constructions were built in the beginning of XX century on the distance of 84 km. Many tunnels, relieving walls and stone galleries are unique and extremely picturesque. This short section has no equal among other Russian railways by the volume of complexity and cost of work. Only tourist trains with soft armchairs and modern tele- and audiosystem go by the railway. The train has a bar. Guide tells about the history of building of all-round Baikal railway during stops in the most interesting and beautiful places.
